From a young age, her natural talent in hairstyling transformed a childhood hobby into a professional pursuit.

Nana's journey began at the age of seven, driven by a fascination with “cornrow” braiding. She vividly recalls practicing on her dolls’ hair, refining her skills until one day, she confidently attempted the style on a friend—and succeeded. Hair has consistently captivated her curiosity, inspiring her to bring her ideas to life through creative execution.

This passion never waned. She earned her cosmetology license and gained experience working in salons, including the bridal industry, all while pursuing her undergraduate studies. Even as she transitioned into the corporate world, her love for hair remained steadfast—serving clients by maintaining healthy, beautiful hair continued to be a guiding passion.

As her professional career in corporate advanced, her schedule became increasingly demanding. Simultaneously, she recognized a growing need within the hair industry for skilled stylists who prioritize hair health and integrity, particularly in the bridal sector.

This realization prompted her to transition into the bridal industry, where she could dedicate her expertise to creating stunning looks for special occasions while maintaining her professional commitments in corporate America. This dual-path approach allowed her to balance both roles, nurturing her passion for hair artistry alongside her professional career in Quality Improvement.

With over 14 years of experience, she is grateful for the mentors who have shaped her journey and helped her become the professional she is today.
